John Svec is the director of new business development for Parks & Resorts, a subsidiary of Delaware North, a global leader in hospitality and foodservice and one of the largest privately held companies in North America, with approximately $2 billion in revenues and more than 40,000 employees.

In this role, Svec will assist the company in researching and evaluating future business opportunities.

Svec joined Delaware North in 2008 and brought a wide array of experience in the food service and hospitality industries. His previous professional posts included stints at American Hotel Brokerage, Molinaro Koger and J.E.P. Restaurant Group.

He holds degrees from the Culinary Institute of America, the Johnson Graduate School of Management and the Cornell Hotel School.
