Christian C. De Vos is the vice president of food and beverage for Parks & Resorts, a subsidiary of Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and foodservice and one of the largest privately held companies in North America, with approximately $2 billion in revenues and more than 40,000 employees.
De Vos is responsible for food, beverage and guest service at all Parks & Resorts operations. This includes everything from overseeing front-of-the-house guest service programs to the development and implementation of operational and logistical culinary standards. De Vos also plays an integral role in selecting and developing culinary staff.
Prior to working with Delaware North, De Vos served a six-year term as dean of the School of Culinary Arts at Kendall College in Chicago. There, he was responsible for leading and supervising a staff of 17 full-time chef instructors and 300 full-time students. He also brings experience from the Chicago Fund on Aging and Disability and Aramark.
De Vos completed his undergraduate work at Ecole Hoteliere de Namur in Namur, Belgium and subsequently graduated from Loyola University with a Master of Arts degree.
